So I just got back from a week of roadtripping down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to San Diego, and I feel like I left a big piece of my heart in California. I also feel a lot more inspired than I have recently.
Here are some highlights…

One of many beautiful buildings in SF, taken on our adventure down Lombard St. (and, fun fact: a lot of SF streets are named after Philly streets, which made me feel even more at home there).

On the road, somewhere on the PCH ❤

I believe this was somewhere around Big Sur? We made a lot of stops to capture the beauty around there.

Hearst Castle. So glad we got to see this. Magical is the best word to describe the estate. Not even kidding, it’s on a gigantic hill, and the bottom of the hill was freezing, foggy, and covered with creepy ravens. When we got to the top, it was sunny with not a cloud in the sky and at least 20 degrees warmer. I especially enjoyed the collection of ridiculous statues, including one of a naked woman seductively feeding an ear of corn to a goat.

The dock, after enjoying some delicious seafood from Santa Barbara Shellfish Co.. Another place we didn’t want to leave.

Griffith Park Observatory in LA has some pretty amazing views.
Until next time, CA ❤
